Marr Takeuchi, CCIM, CIPS

President & CEO

 

Marr Takeuchi

Marr Takeuchi is the founder, President and CEO of Global Asset Consultants. 

After immigrating to the United States in 1980 from Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, he studied English in Florida before moving to Southern California to complete his college education. Marr spent 12 years in sales for United Airlines and Korean Air while studying for his insurance and securities licenses. 

Upon receiving his Real Estate License in 1995, he kickstarted independent financial and real estate businesses in 1998. In 2017, he established Global Asset Consultants, Inc. 

Marr currently resides in Southern California while splitting his time in Tokyo, Japan. He enjoys spending time outdoors, golf, fishing, music and karaoke.

Hisao Nakajima

Real Estate Principal Broker

Hisao Nakajima oversees real estate investment and sales operations at Global Asset Consultants.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rikkyo University in Tokyo and later pursued his MBA at University of Miami, Coral Gables. After positions with Union Bank Global Division and in Commercial Real Estate at Cushman & Wakefield, in 2016 he became the Japan Relations Coordinator at California Investment Regional Center. 

Hisao is an Immigration Consultant / EB-5 Program Sales, residing in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Yasuko Takeuchi

Vice President, Licensed Life Insurance & Securities Agent

Yasuko Takeuchi is the Vice President of Global Asset Consultants, providing Life Insurance and Securities since the inception of GAC in 2017.

She received her Insurance License in 1996 and was first employed at Vestine Financial Services offering Life, Medical, and Senior Insurances. In 2015, she received her Security License and provided Mutual Funds, Variable Life Insurance and Annuity brokered through Globalink.

Yasuko continues to combine her expertise and meticulous attention to detail to service clients.

Hodaka Makino

Realtor

Hodaka Makino is a registered Real Estate Agent at Global Asset Consultants. 

He graduated from Komazawa University in Japan with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. Upon immigrating to the United States in 1998, he registered as a Real Estate Agent in 2003 with Reavans Real Estate & Investments. Since 2009, he has flipped Single Family Residences in the Los Angeles area, working as the Selling Agent and Listing Agent while managing contractors, and specialized in sales of condos and townhouses to Japanese investors. 

Hodaka acquires and manages investment properties in the South Bay area in Southern California as well as in Texas.  In 2016, he founded LSTX Property Management LLC in Dallas, managing upwards of 130 properties and in 2017 opened a division in Los Angeles, managing 30+ properties.

Satoko Ono Kuwahata

Client Relations / Realtor 

Satoko Ono Kuwahata oversees Client Relations at Global Asset Consultants. 

She graduated from University in Japan with a Bachelor of Science and received a certificate of General Business from UCLA Extension. Living in Los Angeles since 2004, she is a licensed realtor in the state of California, currently residing in Southern California resident and raising her family. Through her sales career both in Japan and in the U.S., she understands sensitive cultural differences and serves clients with excellent care. Her goal is to remain committed to providing excellent and comprehensive service.

Clayton Takeuchi

Realtor

Clayton Takeuchi is licensed Real Estate Sales Agent at Global Asset Consultants. 

Clayton graduated from University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. He began his career as a Digital Marketing Analyst, managing a tech-startup’s online advertising campaigns in Anaheim, CA. Clayton holds a Real Estate license in California with GAC Real Estate Solutions and in Texas with Compass. Clayton relocated from California to Dallas to help raise capital and analyze investment deals for Global Asset Consultants partner, Eitches Management Group. In his first year at EMG, Clayton supervised over $40 million in multi-family acquisitions.
